Configuring Routes
To add a new Route
In the Mitel Administration, select Voice Assist > Routing. The Voice Assist Routes page displays the list of routes configured during integration.
Click the Add Route button. The New Route window opens.
Enter a descriptive name for the route.
Enter a Routing number. This is the number callers will dial to reach the route. The number can include any dialable characters, such as # and *. Multiple numbers can be entered, if separated with the | character. For example 4000|4001 is valid but 4000 | 4001 is not valid.
Click Create. A new route is added to the Calling routes list in the Voice Assist Routes page.
To delete a Route
In the Mitel Administration, select Voice Assist > Routing. The Voice Assist Routes page displays the list of routes configured during integration.
Click the three dots to the right of the route that you want to delete.
Click the Delete Route option. The Delete window opens.
Type confirm in the text box.
- Click OK. The route is deleted.Note: When you delete a route, any number associated with that route is also removed from the numbers tab as well.
To duplicate a Route
In the Mitel Administration, select Voice Assist > Routing. The Voice Assist Routes page displays the list of routes configured during integration.
Click the three dots to the right of the route that you want to duplicate.
Click the Duplicate Route option. The route selected is duplicated and added to the Calling routes list in the Voice Assist Routes page. "(copy)" is appended to the original route name. Note that the route number will be empty in the duplicated route. To add a route number, edit the route and select the Endpoint ringing activity to enter the number customers will call to reach the route.
