David Petts

Chief Sales Officer

David Petts is an experienced executive sales leader with a track record of revenue growth and operational excellence in business development organizations. As Chief Sales Officer to Mitel, he is responsible for Mitel’s global revenue strategy, execution, and operations. David also oversees Mitel’s strategic partnerships and global sales programs.

David has successfully led multiple go-to-market teams during his time at Mitel. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President for Mitel’s Customer Lifecycle Management Business Group where he drove strategy and operations for programs built to support existing Mitel customers with their evolving communications needs. 

Prior to his time at Mitel, David was Chief Revenue Officer at Shutterstock where he led the evolution of enterprise sales and customer care functions. He has held executive positions in large, multi-billion-dollar revenue companies such as HP and Nokia, and mid-sized companies such as ShoreTel. He has led sales and customer success teams selling to all customer segments ranging from complex solutions to large enterprises, to high-velocity sales to small and medium businesses. 

David holds a Bachelor of Economics and Quantitative Studies from Queen Mary College – University of London, England.
