    Establishing a Benchmark for VoWiFi User Experience

     

    Abe Nejad of TIA Now recently interviewed our own Mobile Division CTO, Terry McCabe, about the challenges of measuring and monitoring voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) services. In the interview, they discuss forecasting Wi-Fi capacity, how to respond to changes in demand, managing handoffs and measuring customer perception. In fact, McCabe suggests that establishing a benchmark for user experience is the first step in measuring network quality for VoWiFi.
