Eric Hanson is the newest member of Mitel’s executive leadership team. The experienced tech leader was announced as CMO in mid-February, and several publications, including Comms Dealer and OEN Magazine, covered his appointment.
Industry analysts also offered their take, including Jim Lundy from Aragon Research and this piece from Shelly Kramer in Silicon Angle. It looks at the experience Hanson brings to the role and what it means for Mitel moving forward.
This month, Mitel also announced new sales leadership for the international and DACH regions, including Simon Skellon as SVP and Head of International Region and Christian Jessel as Head of DACH. Kieran Devlin from UC Today outlines their remits and the sales leadership team supporting Mitel’s efforts in each region.
Well-known German tech publication Telecom Handel also covered the announcement of Mitel’s new DACH sales team, including the experience each leader brings to their new roles.
Communication industry veteran Jonathan Buckle recently took over leading Mitel’s sales strategy and execution for the Americas. During his early days on the job, he chatted with Channel Future’s Moshe Beauford about his priorities, why he strongly focuses on collaboration and the reason he was eager to join Mitel.
Picking up on Eric Hanson’s appointment as CMO, analyst Zeus Kerravala looks back at Mitel’s decision to focus on private and hybrid cloud solutions. He outlines why it has been advantageous as customers continue looking at options beyond shifting entirely to a public cloud deployment.
Finally, congratulations to a pair of Mitel leaders named last month by CRN as Channel Chiefs for 2024. April Miller, Mitel’s VP, Global Channel Program & Experience, and Steffen Kruger, Head of Global Sales and Channel Operations were both recognized for their efforts to drive strategy and set the channel agenda in their roles.
