The heart of Mitel’s Global Partner Program (GPP) is the clear focus on the end customer. The GPP aims to help partners realize the success of all their customer-focused investments, from up-to-date product expertise to excellence in technical support and proactive account planning.

We are evolving our GPP and creating new incentives to reward all it takes to deliver for the Mitel user. Whether through exclusive savings, stacked discounts, certifications, or innovative business intelligence (BI) tools, we always look for ways to celebrate partners and accelerate their growth journey.

This quarter, we’re acknowledging the hard work that partners put into these customer-focused efforts by introducing new digital badges. Digital badging is an evolving way to recognize partners in a credible way to verify their achievements.

Better Alignment through Proactive Recognition

Mitel Global Partner Program Digital Badges

We’re excited to highlight the value our partners bring to Mitel, customers, and the communications market through the GPP Badge Initiative. This program is designed to recognize partners aligned with Mitel’s transformation provider strategy, offering customers and partners flexibility and choice throughout their solutions journey.

Mitel’s new performance-based badges are:

Customer Champion Badge: Awarded based on helping existing customers optimize their Mitel solution set with the best combinations of products and services; these partners work proactively with each customer on their communications solutions.

Technical Excellence Badge: Earned based on providing high-quality and thorough technical support for Mitel solutions, these partners are serious about ensuring a good experience when tech support is needed.

Awarded to high-achieving partners, these badges represent success in solving customer needs. Performance badges are awarded based on continual improvement and servicing customers with exceptional business, lifecycle management, and technical support. Key performance metrics are reviewed quarterly, providing partners a path for recognition and achievement throughout the year.

Mitel partners are encouraged to display digital badges earned on their social and web presence. The new badges provide partners with more ways to differentiate themselves in the market and demonstrate their competency to nurture their existing customers and attract net new business.

Better Data and Stronger Insights

The new badges aren’t the only thing the GPP is doing to change the game for partners this year. Mitel’s made it easier for partners to ramp up their success – and opportunities – by providing a clear view of customer intentions.

Our new Interactive Account Planning tool joins detailed information about a customer’s Mitel system with powerful third-party customer intent data. Partners can filter and sort their installed customer lists to create business plans and prioritized prospect lists. This real and relevant BI gives partners a clear view of what customers seek and drives growth. Working with their Mitel Installed Base Activation Dashboard, all this information stays at the partner’s fingertips through their personal view.

Gone are the days of piecing together databases and lists from multiple sources – partners now have self-service access to the information they need when needed. Together with the expertise of their Mitel Channel Manager, it’s easier than ever for our partners to plan their growth and reap the rewards.

Growing with Our Partners, Focusing on the Long Game…

As Mitel continues to evolve and expand, it is vital to recognize our partners' accomplishments worldwide and maintain our valuable relationships. By implementing and enhancing tools and recognitions, partners are seen and encouraged to contribute to the broader Mitel community and the industry.
